Open Gardens 2013

20th and 21st July 2013
2.00pm to 6.00pm

This is the 22nd Lady Bay Open Gardens. This year's trail includes at least 20 gardens mainly in a tree-lined Victorian setting, bounded by the River Trent and the Grantham Canal.

There is live music, a quartet and the Lady Bay Community Choir. There are activities for kids, including a new adventure garden for nursery age children (Saturday only), teas, cakes, and refreshments.

Proceeds from entrance fee to Lady Bay Community Fund. All other monies raised go to the nominated charity of the garden owners. Proceeds of refreshments at the Scout Hut goes to the New Scout Hut Building Fund.

Plant sales at various gardens.

Cost:
£2.50 adults, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:
Buy the yellow guide map on the day from any participating garden. There will also be a map at the Post Office and participating gardens will be identified by yellow balloons.

Directions:
Lady Bay is off the A6011, close to Holme Pierrepont Water Sports Centre and approx half a mile from Trent Bridge, Nottingham Forest City Ground and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. The landlord of the Lady Bay pub on Trent Boulevard and the landlord of the Poppy and Pint pub on Pierrepont Road have both given permission to park in the pub car parks.
