Open Gardens 2016

Lady Bay, West Bridgford, near Nottingham
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July 2016
2.00pm to 6.00pm

This is the 25th Lady Bay Open Gardens with 25 gardens opening for visitors to see. The trail is mainly in a tree-lined Victorian setting bounded by the River Trent and Grantham Canal.

The trail includes entertainment, competitions, crafts, plant sales, live music, teas and cakes, fundraising for charities and groups plus lots of great entertainment for families to enjoy.
There will be other surprise attractions and information stands connected with gardening and the environment. Cake sales at various gardens, The Scouts will be serving refreshments in their HQ on Mona Road and Leonard Cheshire Disability will be serving Cream Teas at 1 Julian Road.
Proceeds to Lady Bay Community Fund, the New Scout Hut Building Fund, Leonard Cheshire Disability, and various charities nominated by garden owners.

Cost:
£3.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get event passports:
Buy the yellow guide map on the day from any participating garden. There will also be a map at the Post Office and participating gardens will be identified by yellow balloons.

Lady Bay is off the A6011, close to Holme Pierrepont Water Sports Centre and approx half a mile from Trent Bridge, Nottingham Forest City Ground and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. The landlord of the Lady Bay pub on Trent Boulevard and the landlord of the Poppy and Pint pub on Pierrepont Road have both given permission to park in the pub car parks.
